ARTIST OPEN CALL FOR ARTWORK

May-June 2022  Exhibit theme: Our New Reality

200 W Market Street, Aberdeen, WA
Hours: Thursday through Monday, 12noon - 6pm, closed Tuesday and Wednesday

Alder Grove Gallery proudly features a new collection of art created by Grays Harbor and Pacific County Artists. Alder Grove Gallery features some of the best artistic talent in Washington.

All shows run for two months but change throughout the month as artwork sells and new pieces replace them so visit often!

Each new show opens on the First Friday of the month and features artists in action creating their art live as well as live music on the Alder Grove Gallery Stage. First Friday Art Walks start are from 5 to 8pm. Snacks and punch served. All first floor galleries are open.

Many works are fragile; small children must be directly supervised and not allowed to run and explore on their own. This is for everyone’s safety as art work is exhibited on lower tiers and a temptation to touch and handle. Thank you parents and guardians or your prompt attention to this.

Open Call for Artists, Schedule for 2022

May-June Exhibit Theme: Our New Reality
July-August Exhibit Theme: Bring on the Color!
September-October Exhibit Theme: A Black & White World
November-December Exhibit Theme: Black & White Continues, call center about submitting holiday-themed items

If you would like more information on submitting artwork for an exhibit, visit our artist submission page (coming soon). Matching the theme is NOT required but encouraged as fresh and thoughtful work is well received.

19th Annual Studio Tour

This event is held in September. Check back for dates.

Fall is a wonderful time of year in Lewis County, so come out and enjoy it! This September, XX artists offer the perfect opportunity for such an excursion—the 19th Annual ARTrails Studio Tour. Take a drive through the region’s historic communities and wander the back roads of Lewis County. Along the way drop in to watch artists at work and help us celebrate ARTrails’ 19th year. The Studio Tour is free and self-guided. You will have the opportunity to support local arts and artists by purchasing original artwork at each studio as well as at the Exhibition Gallery. As you take the tour, we hope you enjoy the other pleasures of Southwest Washington. Have lunch at one of our many fine eateries, visit local shops and galleries, take a stroll in one of our parks or recreational areas, and explore our museums and historical sights. Check our website for local tourism and lodging information and plan on spending the weekend. This Studio Guide contains artist information and a map to the studios. Additional information is available at: ARTrailsofSWW.org
